Life is a blessing. Live life to the fullest with God’s grace and blessings. Life is filled with guns and wars. You choose the way you want to live. To live life the way you want, you need to have a prayerful life.

Does anybody want to have a depressed, Sad life? Not really everybody wished things always favored them. You and I should never complain. We have almost everything we can wish for. But still we grumble and complain wishing for more and more. God gave us everything. Still why should we complain??? Thank the Lord Almighty. Today’s pleasures can be turned to tomorrow’s sorrows…….

Did she really choose this life? Never, I don’t think so. My heart sinks when I see this poor frail, grey haired Punjabi lady. She is a stranger in this foreign lands, still clad in her traditional Indian Costume – Salwar and Kurtha. Everybody looks at her with a stare. She is a foreigner in this U. S lands. I have been seeing her for more than two and half years she comes to the hospital I work everyday. She doesn’t work there. She is very punctual, prompt and sincere. She is a good disciple. A nice patient loving wife, who comes to visit her husband who has been a patient here for more than 5 years. I have spoken to her a few times. She told me a few years back her husband used to take care of all the household things, he is young in his early 50’s but faith had to bring him down with a stroke after that he was not able to do anything on his own. She told me that she is an illiterate girl now has to manage the household with whatever she gets from the government. They had a son, who was called to the Lord when he was just 13 years. There is no point in life to live for her. Her life is with this semi coma state husband. She finds happiness and pleasure by visiting him, sitting down next to him and praying for him. She stays from morn till dawn with him.

The Bible says, In Psalms 145:13 – 21 - The Lord will supply the need of those who honor him. He hears the cries and saves them. He protects everyone who loves him and will destroy the wicked. All living things look forward towards the Lord and the Lord will give them food when they need and satisfy all needs. The Lord is righteous in all he does. He is near to all those who call upon him with sincere heart. Our Lord is faithful to his promises and merciful to all his acts. He helps those who are in trouble he lifts those who have fallen.

In the book “The Purpose Driven Life “ the author Rick Warren tells us about God’s incredible plan for our lives through the bible. He also tells us what life is all about and to live the life God created for us to live. Warren also talks about the five purposes for each of us.
