DEATH IS THE DOOR TO ETERNITY
By Dr. K.C.NAINAN, ATLANTA, GEORGIA, U.S.A

Death is a reality we all have to deal with in our lives whether we like it or not, unless our Lord comes in our lifetime. Life is a journey to eternity. Time is a glitch or a gap in eternity. We are all trapped in a very fragile bubble floating or immersed in the spiritual world. When this bubble bursts, our inner person who is a soul-spirit entity gets relieved into the spiritual world. God is the uncreated Spirit while we are all His created spiritual beings existing in the created human bodies, which are very weak and fragile. Human body is bound to decay and death. Bible is very clear and emphatic about the weakness and short duration of our bodies.

When we die, our physical bodies of outer jackets are shed off to join the very dust and clay from which originally created by our Maker of heaven and earth. Before sin entered into the lives of our first parents of Adam and Eve, their inner persons of soul-spirits were holy and alive. Sin caused death to body and spirit whereas the soul remained eternal. Through Jesus Christ spirits were given the chance and right to be born-again. In other words the lost glory due to sin was regained or regenerated through faith and grace of God whereas body’s decay/death never changed. Therefore every believer and non-believer will have to go through this door of death to reach the spiritual world of eternal reality.

When the Lord comes, every soul-spirit will be clothed with a spiritual new body, which will not decay or die. Redeemed and chosen human beings will inherit the Kingdom of God while our Lord Jesus will judge the others. Eternal punishment is His choice. On earth we are given the free choice to decide our fate and future after death. A true believer and doer in the salvation plan of our God will be citizens of Kingdom of God. When we are on earth, Holy Spirit will help us to execute and experience the process of salvation in Jesus. Heavenly father wants every human being to receive free salvation in Christ while we are on earth.

Physical death is just a transfer from here to spiritual world. Spiritual death is the worst. A believer in Christ will experience only the physical death and he has eternal life. That is why a Christian can ask, Death, where is your power? Process of physical death may or may not be painful and it is time-dependent. Those who are not born-again will never enter Christ’s Kingdom as the Lord said so. Amen
