WHY TURN TO EAST FOR PRAYER? [ENGLISH]
Christ centered tradition of the church of turning to the east in prayer is part of the rich heritage of the Orthodox Church. We build our churches in the east-west direction. The whole congregation together with the priest turns to east in remembrance of all that God grants us from the time of our creation in Paradise to the fulfillment of all in the Second coming of Christ. The bodies of our beloved departed faithful are laid to rest facing the east with the hope of resurrection and meeting Jesus face to face.

MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU [MALAYALAM]
When one of us was inflicted with a serious illness, we had the great opportunity to enjoy the abundant grace of God and to experience the loving and healing touch of Jesus. A huge cloud of people, known, unknown, familiar and unfamiliar, near and far collectively prayed for us. By this spiritual comfort of prayer and love we enjoyed, we had the chance to mingle with diseased of similar nature and partake in their hardships and pain. This small prayer book is a token of our sharing through prayer with those brethren who are on sick bed. [K.M.G. & M. P. G.]
