Beloved Barnabas Thirumeni was an incessant writer who wrote out of his mounting thrust of his earnest spiritual desire with a fervent mind towards Lord and a pure conscience. He encouraged and blessed this magazine from its inception. The first publication in 2001 itself was with a blessing letter from Thirumeni. Whenever I requested an Article for publication Thirumeni sent it on the very next day by post. He never sent anything by Email, he always sent hand written or printed Article by post and further I have to type that article. While typing always I perceived a God man behind the words. LOL is very much indebted to dear Thirumeni. We bow before you and tearfully kiss your hands. THE VALUE OF TIME [ENGLISH]
Success in life depends on how we make use of time. Time passes away. But the works of time continue to abide. Time is the opportunity to work. It is the opportunity to do good and to grow in goodness. Whenever we get an opportunity to do something good, we shall not postpone it. We have made the best use of time when we are filled with love and when we fill others with love. Everyone in this world has infinite potentialities for good and evil. Let us therefore, make the best use of time, for the glory of God and the benefit of His Children.

DO NOT REPAY EVIL FOR EVIL [ENGLISH]
If we repay evil for evil, people will be tempted to do more evil to us and they will become our enemies. We have to train our children to forgive and love, from early childhood so that the future generation will be better. We are the children of the same God, to whom we are obliged for all that we are and all that we have. God is giving us everything that we need in spite of our unworthiness. Another reason why we should forgive and love people is the fact that all people are fellow being like ourselves.

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE [ENGLISH]
Real love is unconditional and selfless. Our Lord is forgiving us and blessing us in every way. What we have to do is only to open our hearts to Him. He is knocking at the doors of our hearts. The same Lord full of unconditional love asks us to have the same love for others. Only when we have this selfless and unconditional love, we can have real and full heavenly bliss.

THE PURPOSE OF OUR EXISTANCE [ENGLISH]
Even if we gain the whole world and do not achieve the purpose of our existence, our life is a complete failure. God who is love created us. It is not clearly said in the Holy Bible, what for, God created us. Since God is love we cannot think of God doing anything for himself. He is selfless. He wants to give and not to receive. He created man to give him the heavenly bless which He enjoys. Hence man was created in God's image.

Identifying oneself with people and loving them is the most important thing in our spiritual life. Identification means putting oneself in the place of others and seeing their desires and problems as one's own. Then we can love people whole-heartedly, loving them as we love ourselves.

Holy Eucharist is an important occasion in Christian fellowship and in the believer’s life. Eucharist is the sacrifice for our thanksgiving to God for His benevolence and providence. It is a time that we humble ourself to God as living sacrifice to Him. The parable of Pharisee and the other a tax collector is very relevant in this context. They both went to the Temple of God to pray. The Pharisee stood and was praying for himself.

The whole world is in need of a spiritual revolution. The world is in sin and spiritual death. What is sin? It is the rebellion against the will of God. Since God is love, His will is goodness for everyone. The opposite of love is sin, which is selfishness, hatred, and enmity. Sin is not only lack of love, but also a destructive force.

Blessed are those who express their gratitude, for they shall feel happy and receive more help.
