H.G. ZACHARIAH MAR SEVERIOS METROPOLITAN

H. G. Zachariah Mar Severios is consecrated as a Metropolitan of Malankara Orthodox Church on 28th July 2022. Currently H.G is the Diocesan Metropolitan of Idukki diocese. Thirumeni is blessed with a poetic mind and a melodious mouth. His rhetoric excellence, clarity in thoughts, dexterity in Malayalam Literature, authenticity of theme, dominance to the type of audience etc. put together won him as an accepted orator of Malankara not only for Orthodox Church, but also for all denominations of Christians, intellectual, educational and social gatherings, within a short period after his ordination as a Metropolitan. He got vast knowledge of writings of Syriac Fathers and international scholars. Thirumeni, while he was a priest used to speak and write with a pen name Zacher.
