THE MORGUE
By AJU THARIAN, NEW JERSEY

The Pharmacy I work is, next to the morgue
I bypass the morgue to go into the pharmacy.
It's scary to know that I work in
a room next to the morgue.
The word morgue is scary to all.
Although we know that it's a place
where dead one's are stored.
What can a dead person do, when he is dead?
I always envy people who work in the morgue
I wonder if they aren't
scared to work there?
If not for them. Who would work in the morgue?
Today is the first day, I really saw
A dead body being transported
from the morgue. Due to the covers -
Couldn't figure out if was a male or female.
My co-worker who saw this didn't enter
thru that way
I bet she was scard to enter
She found a different route to enter.
The word morgue is scary to most of them
Although there are many, who aren't scared too.
If not for the Morgue,
where can we store the dead?
