HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR
By Most Rev. Philipose Mar Chrysostum
[Marthoma Metropolitan, Mar Thoma Church]
Hearing the word of God with our ears condenses to the obedience to God. The fertile ground which yields the fruits of Holy Spirit is an honest and reasonable heart well disposed towards the instruction and commandment of Lord. Our audibility towards the word of God converge of three steps: Our attentiveness to the Word of God, the words should assimilate to our hearts and the word of God should turn out as our life experience. As God loves the world, we should also love the world and in turn it is the love to God and His creation.

JESUS CHRIST, OUR HIGH PRIEST AND SACRIFICIAL LAMB
By Dr K.C.Nainan, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A
Every Christian believer has to believe and accept the factual truth that our Lord Jesus is the everlasting High Priest much more than Melchizedek or any priest appointed according to Moses’ Laws. His priesthood is never transferred to anybody and His sacrifice cannot be duplicated and repeated, nor be imitated. All believers are declared as the King’s holy priests to present ourselves as sweet smelling and living sacrifices.

FAITH AND FAMILY - SERIES 6 : CHILDREN, OBEY!
By Rev. Dr. Valsan Thampu
Children are biblically mandated to obey their parents, except when such obedience conflicts with the duty to obey God. Jesus came to this world to exemplify the perfection of obedience. Obedience is more pleasing to God than all the sacrifices and oblations put together. True obedience is akin to freedom, whereas disobedience is akin to slavery. Obedience is imbued with the spirit of sacrifice. Obedience to the Will of God liberates us from our weakness and guide us in the divine wisdom.

‘MY JESUS, I LOVE THEE’
By Rev. John T. Mathew, Canada
The Holy Church is figuratively the body of Christ and it existed from the resurrection of Jesus Christ onward, long before we are added to it and no powers of destruction can prevail over it. It is not an invention by any one denomination but all Christians agree on this fundamental teaching that church is an eschatological salvation-community and Jesus’ death and faith in his resurrection are the foundation of the Church. Once the entire believers fly together, we attain the divine strength and power as that of the geese flying in a large V formation.

The irresistible silence of total submission of Jesus to His enemies is the fortress of His victory that has been spinning martyrs for His Kingdom of peace and waiting for their crown that yet to be flowered in an ocean of tranquil Eternity lying ahead of our graves. God is the author and owner of our body and spirit both. Our Lord underwent through the torments that led Him to Golgotha was to teach the world that the life on earth is only a transitory one.

BLESSINGS AND CURSE FROM SAME SOURCE
By Fr. K.K. John Philadelphia
One's speaking habit chiefly depends on hereditary and upbringing. St James taught us that habits especially use of tongue could be improved by honestly practicing 'control'. Without self-awareness control is impossible. Controlling the tongue could permeate social peace, win many friends, and heal many ills and safeguard against many injuries. Careless and foul words merit fatal judgment to oneself. A good word makes the heart glad A soft answer takes away wrath but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge aright but the mouth of the fools pours out foolishness.

Easter is undoubtedly an astonishing reality, a cosmic act of God that divides all of history into two. The truth of the empty tomb and the risen Christ has brought us all together. By Mathews Mar Barnabas Metropolitan
Blessed are those who give counselling to the needy; for they can help them to handle their problems better. Blessed are those who suffer for others, friends or foes; for they show forth the love of God and they can rejoice in the welfare of their fellow beings. Blessed are those who can identify themselves with people through love, in their joys and suffereings; for they can love strangers and sinners also, while hating their sins. WE ARE FOREIGNERS
By Evng. Br. Viji Alexander
For a man's life consist not in the abundance of the things, which he possess. Selfishness tends to lead to possessiveness and possessiveness leads to arrogance. Selfness is a sweet treat to the innately sinful nature of man. It is our Scriptural charge to place God above all in all ways. He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its income. He who profits illicitly troubles his own house. When we give generously our heart shall not be grieved, because for this thing the Lord bless us in all our work and undertakings.
