STAND FIRM IN LORD
By H.G. Arch Bishop Mar Andrews Thazhath
[Metropolitan ArchBishop of Trichur ArchDiocese, Syro-Malabar Catholic Church]
Christ is hope for everybody, especially for Christians. He ‘makes the deaf hear and the mute speak’. He can instill in Christians an ardent desire to listen to and communicate with one another and speak together with Him the language of mutual love. It is an ardent wish of all those who respect and love Jesus, for 'that they may all be one'.

FEAR OF GOD - PART 2
By Rev. Dr. Valsan Thampu
The Word is meant to help us to know and love God. Knowledge of God instills wholesome fear of God. The fear of the Lord involves not only an awareness of the nature of God but also a relationship with Him. The fear of Lord is a sign of spiritual vitality. The fear of the Lord fortifies us against despair and opens the door to a new beginning. The fear of the Lord ensures that we practice justice in inter-personal relationships.

"BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL"
By E.S. John Australia
God’s everlasting mercy is explicitly exhibited while the institution of Sacrifice was established. Hate sins, not the sinners is a general principle because of our own inherent infirmities that make judgement on subjective impulses. Jesus is the real role model who prayed for His adversaries. Mercy should flow to the benevolent ones as well to the malefactors.

MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION
By Rev. John T. Mathew, Canada
Before you place your gift on the altar and remember that someone is angry with you, leave your gift there (not on the altar!) in front of the altar and make peace with that person, return and offer your gift to God. Reconciliation, the process of squaring off, creation of a resolution to move on, is not concocted or cooked up elsewhere, it has to come from within. In the grace of God, reconciliation is genuine, and promising.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE AND IT'S WEAPONS
By Rev. Fr. T. J. Joshua
The work of the ministry and life of a believer is a spiritual warfare with spiritual enemies and for spiritual purposes. Though we walk in the flesh and live in the body and engage in common affairs of life, we are not designed to please the flesh. Also the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

TRNASFIGURATION THROUGH GRACE [MALAYALAM]
By Rev. Rajkumar
When we are turned to Christ a veil of our heart is removed. Then we are able to perceive the word of God very clearly. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away, new things have come. Sinful, anxious, discouraging, futile, unforgiving and worldly thoughts are not conforming to the mind of Christ. Holy Scripture sanctifies our mind and heart. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within us.
