THE MORE WHO IS FORGIVEN, THE MORE HE LOVES
By Rt. Rev. Abraham Mar Paulose Episcopa
[Diocesan Bishop of Kollam Diocese, Marthoma Syrian Church]
The root of tears, their very first and inexhaustible source, is repentance. The penitent woman's feelings of regrets and grief in her heart, pressed upon the fountains of tears in her eyes. So the tears are the most sincere expression of a broken heart. Salvation is the mission of Christ in this world and it is delivered through the true repentance. Redeemabilty of man is the basis of Holy Bible. Repentance needed for the Church, society, Country and the entire world.

DOOMSDAY MAN
By E.S. John Australia
God being the Creator of man doesn’t want to destroy him, the reason for God to give options of choice that makes the Almighty to slow to anger. The everyday life experience and the silently-working universe is a mountain of contradictions and perplexities that force us to wander from the seeming whirlwind of truth to chaos. A New Jerusalem is the metamorphosised world of this earth that Christ has set up for us to live after the Last Judgement.

FORGIVING AND GOOD FATHER
By Rev. Fr. Cheriyan T. Samuel
As the episode of the Prodigal son is presented in a family atmosphere, we miss to see there a praying and guiding mother who could have deter the prodigal son. So this is a parable of a missed/lost mother. Also this is a parable of lost son and forgiving father. Parents are the bows and children are the arrows placed on it. We can perceive the father in this parable as the worldly spiritual paternity we inherited from our parents. Also this is the forgiving and forgetting heavenly father.

DEATH OF DEATH
By John Kunnathu
I am He that lives and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore. I have the keys of the hell and of the death. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? Whom God had raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it. Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.
