H. G. YOOHANON MAR CHRYSOSTOMOS METROPOLITAN

H. G. Yoohanon Mar Chrysostomos Metropolitan is the diocesan Metropolitan of Niranam Diocese of Malankara Orthodox Church. Mar Chrysostomos is an ardent adherent and proponent of H. G. Geevarghese Mar Osthathios Metropolitan who was the great messenger of Gospel, peace, love and charity in Malankara. He was to Osthathios Thirumeni as Silas was for St. Paul. Contribution of Chrysostomos Thirumeni for the interdenominational relation especially for the Bible Society of India is significant. Thirumeni had inherited the responsibility of Mission and Charity works of the Malankara Church after departure of Osthathios Thirumeni.

HOSANNA TO THE SON OF DAVID [MALAYALAM]
Though the followers of Jesus shouted and sang Hosanna, they failed to understand who Jesus was? Lord Jesus was not the earthly redeemer from the yoke of Romans, and His Kingdom was not of this world. Prophet Joel make a serious call to the people, to return and repent, fast and pray, and to seek unto God for mercy, with directions how to do this alright. Our fasting and weeping are worth nothing if we do not tear our heart and turn to Lord.

While we remember a marriage of Cana which was the beginning symbol of the public Ministry of Lord Jesus Christ, we are faithfully waiting for another marriage feast at the end of the world, that is the marriage of the lamb as bride groom and Church, as the bride. Apostle John wrote down everything shown to him through visions while he lived in exile on the island of Patmos. One of those visions was of the greatest wedding feast to ever occur, known as the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. In attendance are countless multitudes from every corner of the world, and the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus.

RETURN TO JERUSALEM [MALAYALAM]
When the disciples who went to Emmaus on the Resurrection day sat down to meal with stranger who met them on the road, the stranger turned as the Master of the feast. While having communion their eyes opened. Christ’s discourse with then on the road had burned their hearts within them. Going back Jerusalem is a indication of turning back to God.

FAITH DECLARATION OF ST. THOMAS : 'MY LORD AND MY GOD' [MALAYALAM]
Resurrected Lord Jesus appeared again to disciples in Jerusalem when Thomas was present. While the doors were shut for fear of the Jews, Jesus came in among them, and stood in the midst and said, Peace be unto you. Hardships and sufferings in our life should not cause for desperation, and God man should not get stumbled on that; instead it should happen for the prosperity and enlargement of Gospel. The persecutors cannot imprison the word of God. St. Paul considered his life was Christ, and his death was gain. It is the undoubted character of every good Christian that to him to live is Christ. The glory of Christ ought to be the end of our life, the grace of Christ the principle of our life, and the word of Christ the rule of it.

THE DREADFULNESS OF APOSTASY [ENGLISH]
In the new culture based on the Cross of Christ, law never would become the final word. Rather, law shall work as a tool to make the culture established. What is primary is the relationship between each of the elements in creation. In the new law physical killing is not differentiated from the emotional or psychological torture and annihilation. The Culture of the Cross-is the culture of a just relationship and reconciliation.
